MISSION STATEMENT
The Finance Department is responsible for the collection of revenue, paying of bills, processing of payroll, procurement, and all the accounting and required reporting that accompany these functions. The Finance Department is also the sole borrower of funds for the Town and develops the annual Town budget for review by the Finance Committee. Additionally, the Department applies and manages grants and revolving accounts for the various Town Departments, Boards and Commissions. The Finance Director is responsible for the overall management of the Department and also acts as the Treasurer and Collector for the Town.
CURRENT BUDGET
The current fiscal year 2007 budget for the Town of Groveland is $11,296,320.00 with $6,474,763.00 paid to the Regional School Districts.
PROPOSED BUDGET
The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2008 is $11,508,445.00 with $6,739,060.00 paid to the Regional School Districts.
