II. Agenda - Motion to approve the agenda made by Maureen Moran; seconded by Bill Darke.
III. Minutes (approve)
a. February 8, 2006 – motion to approve minutes by Sandy Venner; seconded by Bill Darke. Motion approved by unanimous vote.
IV. Old Business
Review of RATF recommendations – warrant content. The changes recommended by Sandy Venner were approved with the following changes.
a. A motion was made by Glenn Kemper to change the name “Regional Advisory Committee” to “Regional Financial Advisory Committee”. Motion seconded by Sandy Venner. Motion approved unanimously.
b. The language for the Regional Financial Advisory Committee should be added to Section X of the current agreement.
c. Change first part of the Regional Financial Advisory Committee definition to “One selectman from each member town or his/her designee.”
d. Change references to “School Committee” to “Regional District School Committee” throughout.
e. Change Assessment Method, Section V-2 – remove “E&D appropriation” from list of other itemized offsets to be subtracted from the operating budget. Change “school census” to “school population for which the towns are financially responsible” in the additional assessment computation.
f. A motion was made by Maureen Moran to rescind the task force’s previous motion to put the recommendation to change the assessment approval to two out of three on a ballot. Seconded by Bill Darke. Motion approved unanimously. This will be voted at Town Meeting only.
g. A motion was made by Maureen Moran to put the recommended assessment method changes on the ballot. Seconded by Bill Darke. Motion approved unanimously.
h. The Educational Session will be held Tuesday, April 11 at 7:30 pm in the Middle School Auditorium.
